This Privacy Policy describes how AI Baby Photoshoot (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services (the “App”). We designed this policy to meet Apple App Store privacy expectations, especially for apps that process photos with AI.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:
Account & identity information
- Name and email address
- Profile photo / avatar URL (if provided by your sign-in provider)
- Sign-in identifiers from Apple Sign In or Google Sign-In
- Device identifiers used to maintain your session and guest experience
Baby profile information
- Baby nickname or name you choose to save
- Gender and date of birth (if you provide them)
- Photos you upload for portrait generation, which may contain facial images (“Face Data”)
Generated content & usage data
- AI-generated portrait images and related generation history
- Template / style selections and in-app activity needed to operate features
- App diagnostics and technical logs (for example, error events) to keep the service reliable
Purchases & subscriptions
- Subscription and purchase status processed through Apple App Store / Google Play
- We do not receive or store your full payment card details; those are handled by Apple or Google
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, personalize, and improve the App’s features
- Generate AI baby portraits from photos you upload
- Manage accounts, credits, subscriptions, and purchases
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the App
- Protect security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations
3. Face Data
What we collect
When you use AI Baby Photoshoot, you upload photographs that contain facial images (“Face Data”). We collect these photos solely to generate AI-created baby images at your request.
How we use it
Your uploaded photos are used only to generate the baby images you request. We do not use Face Data for advertising, user profiling, facial recognition, identity verification, or to build any biometric database.
Sharing and third parties
To generate images, your uploaded photos are transmitted securely to OpenAI, our AI processing provider, via its API. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models and automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days. We do not sell or share your Face Data with any other third party for advertising or unrelated purposes. Your photos are stored on our secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the Mumbai region (India).
Retention and deletion
We retain your uploaded photos and generated images only while your account is active, so you can access your results. You may delete any individual photo or your entire account at any time from within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes all your Face Data and generated images from our servers. Storage location
All Face Data and related app data that we store are kept on encrypted AWS servers located in the Mumbai region (India).
4. AI Data Processing
Uploaded photos are used only to generate the portraits you request. We process them securely and do not sell your photos or personal data. We do not use your photos to train our own AI models without your explicit consent.
When you request a photoshoot, your uploaded image and related prompt/style information are sent securely to OpenAI via its API solely to create your generated portrait. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models and automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days. We do not authorize OpenAI to use your photos for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Photos and generated images are stored securely on our AWS infrastructure in connection with your account so you can view, manage, and re-use them in the App. They remain available until you delete them in the App or until your account is deleted (see Face Data and Data Retention). We do not apply a hidden short-term auto-delete timer that removes photos without your action; you stay in control of when photos are removed from your account.
You can delete individual photos, baby profiles, and generated results directly from within the App. You can also delete your account from the App. When you delete your account, we remove the associated personal data and Face Data from our active systems as described in Data Retention below. 5. How We Share Information
We may share information only as needed to operate the App:
- OpenAI — AI processing via API to generate portraits from your uploads
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — secure cloud hosting and storage in the Mumbai region (India)
- Authentication providers — Apple and/or Google for sign-in
- App stores & billing platforms — Apple and Google for purchases and subscription status
- Legal / safety — when required by law or to protect users, rights, and security
We do not sell personal information or Face Data, and we do not share photos for marketing lists or third-party advertising networks.
6. Data Retention
- Uploaded photos, Face Data & generated portraits: retained while associated with your account so you can access them in the App, until you delete them in the App or delete your account.
- Account information: retained while your account is active and as needed for support, billing records, and legal compliance.
- OpenAI API processing: OpenAI automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days and does not use API data to train its models.
- After you delete in the App: when you delete photos, profiles, generations, or your full account in the App, we permanently remove the related data — including Face Data — from our active systems, subject to limited backups or records we may need to keep for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of photo and Face Data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and encrypted storage on AWS servers in the Mumbai region (India). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. Photos of babies/children should only be uploaded by an adult who has the right to do so. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 for their own accounts. If you believe a child’s information was submitted improperly, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete photos, Face Data, generated images, or your account data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
You can exercise these controls directly in the App, including deleting photos, baby profiles, generated portraits, and your account. For other privacy requests or if you need help, email us at support@skushot.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and as required by applicable law.
If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, you can also manage linked permissions through those providers’ account settings.
10. International Transfers
We store Face Data and related app data on encrypted AWS servers in the Mumbai region (India). When you request AI generation, photos are transmitted securely to OpenAI for processing via its API. If you access the App from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India and by OpenAI as needed to provide the service. We take steps designed to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the App.
